About this song
"YOU HAVE ALWAYS BEEN HERE" is an Endless Taverns single released on 10 April 2026, inspired by the Backrooms, the internet horror setting of endless yellow-papered rooms. Its narrator cannot remember walking in or who they were, only humming lights, wet carpet and something that moves just out of sight. The creator says they never expected to make nerdcore AI music or to hear their own voice on a song through AI, and that the video was recorded in the game The Complex: Expedition. The track has passed 53,000 Spotify plays and the video 28,000 views. The video description labels the song "Human-made // AI Assisted" and names Suno, Gemini 3, KLING and Claude. Endless Taverns is the channel of an independent creator who writes fandom-inspired songs about tabletop and video games and releases them on YouTube and Spotify, with Ministry of Vibes on the ℗ line.
