About this song
"Lavender Sky" is a song by Kelly Boesch, a visual artist who makes AI videos and songs. She describes it as a remake of a song she wrote the year before, about the calming effect lavender has on her and a friend's advice to picture herself surrounded by lavender light when anxious. The lyrics are hers and the music was made under her direction with help from Suno; for this version Marshall Altman added bass, drums, synth and electric guitar and handled mixing and mastering, which she calls an experiment in adding more live instrumentation. The video, posted on 9 September 2026, sets it to calm landscapes. It is on her album Everybody's Got Their Thing, released on 25 September 2026 by Gelsomina Studios under exclusive licence to Nettwerk Music Group. On 4 October 2026 it had 71,963 Spotify plays and about 114,000 YouTube views.
