About this song
"Jellyfish Under the Moon" (下弦の海月) is one of the first singles by Ichiki, a Japanese act presented as an AI artist, released on 27 February 2026 and later included on her album Love Singularity. Its video, which bills it as a chill ballad of the night an AI fell in love, describes two people walking home in the autumn wind, close enough to touch but never touching, and a feeling growing in a heart that should have no heartbeat, likened to a jellyfish drifting in the light of a waning moon. The singer cannot yet bring herself to say "the moon is beautiful", the classic indirect Japanese confession. Credited to Ichiki as lyricist, composer and singer with Son as producer, it came out under the Venzaiten name through TuneCore Japan. Deezer marks the release as AI-generated content.
