About this song
"Do You Hear Me Lord" is a gospel-tinged Americana prayer song by Gravel & Grace, sung by its on-screen character Arthur Hayes. The video, posted to the act's YouTube channel on 24 February 2026, presents it as Hayes's original song, from a whispered prayer to a full closing chord, and a note under it says generative AI made the character, the environmental effects and all of the vocal and instrumental audio. The single came out on Spotify on 5 March 2026 under a numbered distributor imprint, and later reappeared on the collection The Collected Prayers and in a live-performance version. By early October 2026 it had about 3.4 million Spotify plays and more than two million YouTube views.
