About this song
"Before the Nails" is an Endless Taverns single released on 13 February 2026, inspired by the War Hounds legion of Warhammer 40,000. Sung by the legion's warriors, it contrasts the loyalty and purpose they had before the nails with the fury that now fills them, blaming a father who wanted only slaughter. The note on the official video tells the commenter who requested the War Hounds that their time has come. The track has passed 55,000 Spotify plays and the video 68,000 views; the description labels the song "Human-made // AI Assisted" and names Suno, Gemini 3, Veo 3 and Claude. Endless Taverns is the YouTube and Spotify act of an unnamed independent creator, described on its channel as a digital designer laid off in November 2023 who turned to AI to bring their ideas to life; it releases a new fandom-inspired single most weeks.
