Banjo Boy

"Banjo Boy" is the song that introduced the recurring character at the centre of Got Dem Blues' swamp-blues stories: a banjo player whose arrival at a bayou gathering sets the whole party stomping until sunrise. The act's own YouTube channel posted the official video on 24 July 2026, describing the track as a mix of dirty swamp blues, Southern funk, banjo and slide guitar, and the recording was released three days later on the album Tales From The Bayou Vol. 1 (Dark Blues) under the act's own GDB Records imprint. Got Dem Blues is a dark blues project whose unnamed creator says on its Spotify profile that they write the lyrics and then use AI music tools to bring each song to life. In early October 2026 the Spotify track showed 1,211,529 plays and the official video 827,190 views.
