Biography
Pooya Koosha is an Iranian-born technology entrepreneur based in Menlo Park, California. He and his brother, Ash Koosha, left Iran in 2009. He is co-founder and chief technology officer of Claigrid, the brothers' cloud AI personalization company, whose site presents him as a systems architect with expertise in distributed computing, large-scale platform infrastructure, networking, HPC hardware and satellite communication. Deadline reported that he created Yona, an AI pop star, at Auxuman, another company the brothers founded, though The Guardian and Claigrid's own site credit Yona to Ash.
With Ash he also co-founded Fountain 0, an AI film studio launched in 2025 that has former NBC executive Tom Rogers as executive chairman. He was a producer and post-producer on its first feature, Dreams of Violets, a fully AI-generated, fictional dramatization of a January 2026 massacre of Iranian civilians, which premiered at the Tribeca Festival on June 10, 2026. Trade reports described the brothers as first-time filmmakers.
He took the same roles on the studio's second feature, Odysseus: The Fall, in which his likeness is credited as Eurylochus. In statements to the press he praised the video model Kling for rendering the film's scenes and said each new Fountain 0 film should improve on the studio's AI production techniques.
