Biography
Lucas Levitan is a Brazilian illustrator, animator and creative director based in Madrid, whose own site credits him with more than 20 years of work between advertising and art. He says he spent four years as a Creative Strategist at Meta, has worked with agencies including Wieden+Kennedy, McCann London, FCB New York, Mother and R/GA, and lists clients such as Apple, Google, Amazon, Coca-Cola, Armani and Lufthansa.
His best-known project is Photo Invasion, in which he draws illustrations into other people's photographs to change what the picture says; he describes it as having started as a prank. A self-published book of the series, funded through crowdfunding, sold out, and he says a new edition is in progress. A January 2015 Influencity profile described him as a Brazilian illustrator then living in London.
With Fabián Jiménez he co-directed the AI short Little Mes, which he also wrote and art directed, as a production of the Salad Collective, a group of five artists, filmmakers, sound designers and screenwriters working with AI. The film is an inner monologue about a man aware of parallel versions of himself, staged as miniature puppet theatre; Reply says it was made with Kling, Veo 3.1, Seedance and Suno. It was one of ten finalists, from more than 3,000 entries, at the 2026 Reply AI Film Festival, where it took no prize, and Runway lists it as a Merit winner in the Film category of AIF 2026.
His site also lists Salad projects including the series The Outcasts and the short Armando the Fish, and says he has made hundreds of AI clips with Google's tools, including Google Flow experiments, with the production company SpecialGuestX.
