Li Guanyu

Li Guanyu is the chief planner and producer of The Reunion Journey (团圆令), a 2026 Chinese animated feature. Global Times describes him as chairman of co-producer Beijing Shrub Culture and Technology Co, Ltd; People's Daily Overseas Edition gives his name as 黎贯宇 and calls him producer and head of the company, Beijing Shrub Interactive Entertainment (灌木互娱).

He told Global Times that the film's panda protagonists were chosen out of hopes for Taiwan's reunification, and presented it as the first complete AIGC animated feature that meets theatrical standards. People's Daily says he led development of the company's own AI tools for micro-expressions and object interaction.

He said the self-developed AI platform cut costs to about one fifth of a traditional animated film and shortened production to five or six months. He predicted that animation may move toward a "theatrical series" model with several releases a year.
