Yes. Leya Love is a virtual influencer, a digital avatar made by the Swiss transmedia company Cosmiq Universe, founded by Annika Kessel and Bruno Stettler; no human model or performer is named behind her.
The strongest evidence comes from her makers. A February 2021 Cosmiq Universe press release calls Leya Love "the first avatar created by Cosmiq Universe". It says she is built on 3D avatar technology and a game engine, with early augmented reality effects on Instagram, and quotes founder Annika Kessel and co-founder Bruno Stettler on running avatars as digital brand ambassadors. The Swiss trade site cmm360.ch carries the same text in German. The Bern conference Herbstevent, which had her as a speaker in 2024, introduces her as a "Virtual Human" created by Cosmiq Universe.
No page names a human model, actor or voice behind her, and no source contradicts the operator's account. VirtualHumans.org and the marketing blog Hypefy list her as a virtual influencer. Hypefy files her under "AI-image". The 2021 release describes 3D and game-engine rendering, so her images may have been made with different tools over the years. Either way, she is a generated character and not a real person.
What is still unknown: the research did not record any platform AI label on her accounts. No page says who at Cosmiq Universe writes her captions, or whether a real person's voice or body is used in her reels.
