Her own Instagram profile, @lamya_ai, describes her as the "First Saudi AI Model". Cryptopolitan (July 2024) says her existence "is purely virtual, yet she interacts with her followers as if she were a living person". Arabisk London calls her the first AI-generated model in Saudi Arabia. No page we read names a human model, performer or voice actor behind her.

The two articles are not independent. The Arabisk London piece closely paraphrases the Cryptopolitan one, and both appear to rest on the same announcement, so they count as one press source plus her own bio. Neither quotes a named operator or explains how the images are made. The Campaign ME and Albawaba pieces on the dossier's source list could not be opened (403), so they were not used.

What is unknown: who her creators are. Both articles say only "Lamia's creators". One embedded post credit points to blinx (@blinxnow), but that is unconfirmed. We also don't know whether a human will voice the Najdi-dialect speech the creators said was coming, which would make her partly human-voiced. Her Instagram has been dormant since 5 November 2024. With her own bio and the press agreeing and nothing pointing to a human performer, AI is the better-supported answer.
