Josemaria Silvestrini is a 28-year-old businessman who owns Modern Antidote, a sulforaphane-based supplement formula sold for just under $50 a jar on Amazon. The New York Times, as reported by Amish America and a Boston Globe reprint, says he studied chemistry at Williams College, had a California lab manufacture the formula, and used AI for the logo, packaging and website. He works with more than three dozen independent creators, paid by retainers, commissions and bonuses, and says about 1,000 jars have sold. Melanskia is one of several synthetic influencers promoting the product; reports differ on whether he runs the company from Beijing or from Shanghai while completing a master's program.
