Dzmitry Yarmolich

Dzmitry Yarmolich is a Minsk-based rotational worker in the oil and gas industry, previously on rigs in Alaska's North Slope and in Yamal, who creates the Belarusian-language AI music project Vuž. Nasha Niva reports that he writes the lyrics and prompts and uses neural networks to produce the music and vocals, after earlier releasing lyrical tracks as D-i-medroL and, in 2017, the viral rig-worker parody video Bur idzot. He argues that generative tools democratise music-making for people without studio money.
