Anelie Godar

The only pages that describe Anelie Godar are on VirtualHumans.org, a directory of virtual influencers. Its profile of her lists her as a virtual influencer who first appeared on 5 February 2021, quotes her Instagram bio ("no filters, no photoshop, no life" and "Unliving and disgruntled girl from Russia!") and gives her a backstory as someone who "had a difficult childhood as a robot". The same site featured her in its June 2021 roundup of 42 newly added virtual influencers. The persona's own words, as quoted there, present her as a character rather than a living person, and no page names a model, voice or performer behind her.

The evidence is thin, though. Both pages come from one publisher, which works as a directory and often repeats an account's own description. No studio, agency or individual has ever said they run her. Her TikTok bio, in Russian, only says she will find a boyfriend some day and points to Instagram, and the research recorded no AI label on it. Her Instagram profile is no longer available and her X account does not exist, so her original posts can no longer be checked.

Still unknown: who made her, whether her images were made with 3D software or generative AI, and whether a real person's voice is heard in her two TikTok videos from April 2021. The verdict rests on how she and the one directory that covers her present her, and nothing on the pages contradicts it.
