Bullet Microdrama, which has Zee Entertainment's backing, premiered the trailer for The Dwarka Project at Anime India in Mumbai. The 100-minute sci-fi anime is being made entirely on Trinetra AI, Bullet's own Indian-built filmmaking platform, and is the first production to come out of it.
The story is set in 2166: a young man from the marshlands goes looking for his kidnapped father, finds he has powers tied to the sunken city of Dwarka, and ends up fighting a corporation that wants to own the future.
Co-founder Azim Lalani called it a test of a new way of producing films rather than a tech demo. Its feature length makes it a harder trial than the AI shorts seen so far: whether the tools can hold a long story and one visual style together.
