Twitch is testing Stream Coach, a generative AI feature that reviews each broadcast after it ends and gives streamers tailored tips in the Creator Dashboard and by email, such as when viewers were most engaged and what to try next.
Only a small group of streamers has it for now. Twitch Support stressed that it is optional and that streamers can opt out or ignore its advice.
The Amazon-owned platform has taken heat from users over earlier AI features. Rivals are also trying to coax nervous newcomers into going live: YouTube with a practice mode for vertical live video, TikTok with a LIVE tips newsletter.
