Suno has put up a waitlist for Suno Vinyl, a coming-soon service that turns songs generated on the platform into physical 12-inch records. The company told Music Business Worldwide it wants to give people a tangible version of what they make, and it is pitching the records mainly as gifts and keepsakes.

The page describes a record of up to 46 minutes, assembled from a user's own Suno library, with a sleeve, labels and cover the user designs from personal art or Suno's artwork. Each black PETG disc is pressed from the final mix, checked and shipped for an estimated $45 plus postage, and Suno insists it is a real pressing rather than a novelty cut.

The launch adds a physical product to a company whose training practices remain in court. Universal and Sony are still suing Suno in the US after Warner settled in November 2025 and licensed its catalogue, and Suno lost to the German collecting society GEMA in Munich the week before. Denmark's Koda and several independent artists have their own claims.

The labels' core argument, going back to the RIAA-coordinated suits of 2024, has been that AI tracks compete with and displace human artists' work and eat into their royalties. Suno Vinyl takes that argument somewhere new, putting AI songs into the same physical format as a musician's release.

Suno, valued at $5.4 billion after raising over $400 million in June, already restricts downloads to paying accounts under the terms of its Warner deal, which also handed it the concert app Songkick. No launch date has been given.
