Stability AI has launched Stable Audio 3.0, four music-generation models it says were trained entirely on licensed material. Three are open-weight and free to download.
The Medium and Large versions make tracks over six minutes, double the 2.0 limit, while 3.0 Small makes up to two minutes and, Stability claims, is the only model that composes full tracks offline on a device.
Under its Community License users own and can sell their output; firms with over $1 million in recurring revenue need an enterprise licence, which adds legal indemnity.
