South Korea's broadcasting regulators have picked 11 TV titles made with AI for help selling them abroad. The Korea Communications Commission and the Korea Broadcasting and Communications Agency will pitch them to buyers at the Asia TV Forum & Market in Singapore on 3–5 December.
Four get production support, including MBC's Rookie Director Kim Yeon-kyung, which de-ages its cast into their childhood selves, Studio Prism's travel show, which previews shoots with text-to-image tools, and Jwonder's crime show Korean Desk: The Manila File, which uses generative effects to trace a suspect's route. Seven more, including CJ ENM's Forget Me Not, go into a showcase, among them a cooking show that reads old manuscripts with AI and an Inkigayo spin-off that builds an AI idol's voice and movement.
The agencies will arrange investor meetings and promotion at the market, continuing support for AI-made programmes they began in 2024.
