Fairground Entertainment has turned its catalogue of generative-AI films into a linear, ad-supported channel called AI Creator TV, now carried on Roku alongside Xumo Play and Canela.TV. The programming is drawn from more than a hundred filmmakers who submit through Fairground's portal, and a launch competition offered winners cash, a slot on the channel and half the revenue their films earn. Engadget's take is that the AI-generated label flattens a lot of human work: one featured series, Lost Garden, was written and designed by its creator, with AI used for animation, voices and music before conventional editing. The open question is whether anyone will sit down and watch an AI channel the way they watch a news or cooking channel. Fairground has made it onto the guide; the audience is not yet proven.
