Anthropic has announced features aimed at putting Claude inside animation and design pipelines, connecting it to tools such as Blender, Autodesk software and Adobe After Effects.
The company describes three roles: tutor for complex programs, author of scripts, shaders and plugins, and assistant for repetitive production chores such as batch processing assets or setting up projects. Claude Design is pitched for early concept work.
Alongside the release, Anthropic became a patron of the Blender Development Fund and is working with art programmes at RISD, Goldsmiths and Ringling College.
