Alibaba has opened a beta of Wan3.0, a video model that makes clips of up to 30 seconds, twice the length of Wan2.5, and can suggest a length or extend an existing clip.
One prompt can combine up to ten images, five videos and five audio clips, and PDFs, slide decks and web pages can be fed in as source material. Alibaba says the model holds faces, props and layouts steadier across a clip.
It names film production, short dramas and creator social clips among the uses, alongside marketing and robot-training footage. Wan3.0 is offered on wan.video and Alibaba's cloud in Standard and faster Prime tiers, as Alibaba raises money to fund heavy AI spending.
