A Detroit-based AI video ad company whose platform turns a business's brand assets into ready-to-run video ads, with AI scriptwriting, voiceovers and translation.

Waymark's own site says it launched in 2017 and lists Detroit Venture Partners, Invest Detroit, North Coast Technology Investors, Draper Associates and Rise of the Rest as investors. CEO Alex Persky-Stern leads it, and it describes its approach as "Humans at the Helm". Third-party listings disagree on its founding year (2010, 2012) and on how much it has raised.

In 2023 its creative team made The Frost, a 12-minute short written and directed by executive producer Josh Rubin. According to MIT Technology Review, every shot was generated with OpenAI's DALL-E 2 and animated with D-ID. Persky-Stern said the company wanted to explore building generative AI into its products. The review credits the film to Waymark and Latent Cinema, a name no source found explains.
