Motionfield

A film and animation studio, apparently Spanish-based (its team trained at ESCAC in Barcelona), that describes itself as built around storytelling and uses AI as one tool among the craft of filmmaking, animation and visual effects.

Its site lists four projects: the animated short The Child of the Sea (12 minutes, a festival selection), the animated movie Katz and the brand film TalesTown (both in pre-production), and the animated series Bites & Likes (in production). The team is led by showrunner and director Ibai Abad, producer Juando Cortijos and art director and AI engineer Marcos Ovejero.

The Child of the Sea, written and directed by Ibai Abad and credited on YouTube as 'A MotionField production', received a Grand Prix Special Mention at the Reply AI Film Festival 2026 in Venice, which Reply's coverage ties to a hybrid workflow of Magnific with human-led editing.
