Isekai Zero

Isekai Zero is an AI role-playing and AI story app from Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, and the brand behind the short film Michiru. It is run by ARx Media Sdn. Bhd., which describes itself as a full-stack technology company working in AI, AR, VR and XR.

Wikipedia says Louis Muk began developing the app in 2022. It reached Google Play on 23 August 2025 and the App Store in September 2025. Its mascot Michiru, and the character Jiku, were designed by Sarawak artist Miin in 2025.

Around March 2026 ARx Media began producing the Michiru anime short, which Chief Community Officer Jimsley Lim said took about six months from planning and scriptwriting to animation, on a low budget. The company's blog says the team photographed real Kuching locations, wrote the story and shot list, and used AI animation, with re-prompting and redrawing shot by shot. Wikipedia lists Nano Banana, ChatGPT, Seedance, Claude and Suno among the tools; the music is by composer kheelstrife.
